"Adopted" (Romans 8:15) Going in the wrong direction? Christ came to move us forward! Listen to today's message and see how God sees.  This can be heard at 7:05 am on KLGA next Sunday.

THANK YOU

Thanks to each of you for helping to make our 60th wedding anniversary such a memorable occasion.  Your thoughtfulness via cards, good wishes, flowers, gifts and attendance made it so.  You are a tremendous church family.  God bless.

In Christian love – Elgin & Gert Allen

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.  1 Thess. 5:16-18

*Lea Hepworth at Trinity Lutheran Church of Cedar Rapids (319-366-1569)

*Serve The City, a faith based group that is working in the Cedar Rapids area; www.servethecity.org or (319-378-0337).

We know that the pleas for help will continue to come…and the opportunities to serve in the name of Jesus will be many.

LUTHERANS FOR LIFE

“Our Lord faced opposition, but He continued to bring the Word of life and healing to many.  Though the pro-life community may suffer reverses...we cannot give up the effort to fight for the unborn so that all humans are recognized as persons, beings valuable in and of themselves” Rev. Dr. Kevin Voss, director of Concordia Bioethics Institute. www.lutheransforlife.org

We cannot vex the devil more than by teaching, preaching, singing and talking of Jesus. Martin Luther, Table Talk
