YOUTH TIDBITS

*The High School Sunday morning Bible study starts at 9:30 to 10:15 in the Upper Room. As a new year begins, our 8th graders will now attend this study rather than going to their normal Sunday School rooms.
*Both the senior high and junior high will have the opportunity to go skiing this winter at Mount Kato in Mankato. This event will be held on Sunday, February 12th. If you are interested in attending, please sign up at the youth table in the narthex. Cost is $35 which includes ski rental. There is a $3 charge for ski lessons, if you want them. 6th grade and under must be accompanied by a parent.

ANNUAL YEARBOOKS

We will be collating the yearbooks NEXT Sunday directly following the 8:00 am service in the Life Center conference room.    Everyone is welcome to assist with this project.

CARD CASE ITEMS

GOOD SAM BIRTHDAY PARTY

You may not be aware of it but ladies from Trinity have been providing for the birthday party for the residents each month for over 30 years.  All residents who are celebrating their birthday that month receive a birthday cake.  Monetary donations are always welcome; if you have any questions, call Delores Hackbarth at 295-2754.

BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES

One way in which to build a healthy family is through daily prayers or devotions. When you do this, a strong foundation is formed in your children from an early age. Jeremiah 29:12 says, “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” Teaching your children to trust in the Lord is a wonderful way to strengthen your family.  Lutheran Family Service of Iowa
