Senior High LYF (9th through 12th grade)
Lenten Meal Service Event and Fundraiser:
The LYF will be fundraising by preparing and serving sloppy joe's to the congregation.
WHEN: Come @ 6:30 p.m. on March 6th in order to help prepare the meal and come when you can between 3:30 and 6:00 p.m. to help set-up, serve, and clean up.

MORE FUNDRAISING - The LYF Senior High will be hosting another Lenten Meal on Wednesday March 21st and will be providing the Easter Breakfast for the congregation on Easter Sunday April 8th. (Our 8th Graders are also invited to be part of the fundraising as they are also invited to the summer servant event that these funds will be going toward).
Junior High Lock-In - The Senior High are invited to help out with the Junior High Lock-in on Friday March 9th.
Bowling & Laser Tag in Ft. Dodge - On Sunday March 18th, we will carpool down to Fort Dodge for a fun day of laser tag and bowling.
Summer Servant Event - The Fundraising that our senior high group is doing right now is intended to go toward lowering the cost of a summer servant event. During the week of July 22nd through July 29th we will travel up to Forest Lake Minnesota to partner with a Lutheran church called Lord of the Lakes in doing some service work. We will do light construction work in the homes of the poor, the disabled, and the elderly. Our first 4 days will be long 8 hour work days. However, we will also participate in fun activities in the evening along with Bible study. After our work is complete we will have a fun camping day on Friday and a free day on Saturday to something fun like go to the Mall of America. On Sunday we will worship with their congregation and return home. This event is open to our graduating 8th graders all the way up to our graduating seniors.
The event registration is $225 per person. We are asking each youth to provide a $75 non-refundable deposit along with their registration form. This event has the potential to fill up so we are asking that registration and money be turned in to Pastor Seifert by Wednesday March 21st. (Note: If the fundraising we do covers the full $225 you will receive your $75 deposit back).

When: Friday March 9th beginning @ 9:00 p.m.
Cost is $10. We will have the opportunity to swim at the YMCA for an hour so bring your swimsuit.
