Get A Visit From A Pastor

"Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood." -- Acts 20:28

Pastors Love to Visit!

The pastors of Trinity are here as God's servants to provide spiritual care and direction for our members and guests.  The pastors love to visit and get to know you better as well as to provide comfort and hope from God's Word.

There are many reasons you may be interested in visiting with one of our pastors.  Here are some tips on how best to get ahold of them.

Here Are Some Typical Reasons People Call for a Visit

Our Pastoral staff is here for you. Please don't ever worry that we are too busy or that you're bothering us. You are the reason we're here!

I'm New Here

If you're new to Trinity and interested in getting more information or just chatting about what we believe feel free to email any of our pastors or call the church office (295-3518) and we'd be glad to set up a time to chat.

I Have A Question About Faith or Life

Our pastors love talking about faith and life.  We can come to you at your house, chat on the phone, or you're welcome in our office.  Feel free to email any of our pastors or call the church office (295-3518) and we'd be glad to set up a time to chat.

I (or a loved one) Am In the Hospital

One of the most rewarding parts of our pastors' ministries here at Trinity is bringing God's comfort to people in times of need.  If you or someone you love is in the hospital (doesn't matter where) please call the church office 295-3518 (during the day) or the Pastoral Care Phone 361-1269 (in the evenings or on weekends) and we'll come visit with you.  A visit typically includes visiting about how you're doing, a short devotion, and prayer.

I'm Not Able To Get Out And About Anymore

Did you know that the pastors at Trinity visit over 50 members each month who are no longer able to come to church because they have limited mobility and are either at home or in one of the local care facilities? If you find yourself in this situation, please call the church office 295-3518 and we'll add you to our list. These visits typically include visiting about how life is going, a short devotion, the Lord's Supper, and prayer.

Someone I Love Has Died

The death of a loved one can be one of the most difficult experiences that we might ever have in our lives.  The pastors of Trinity are available to bring God's comfort, peace, and hope to you in the midst of this difficult time.  We know that death doesn't come at a convenient time so we are ready at any time to come and visit with you.  During the day you can call the office -- 295-3518 or in the evenings you can call the Pastoral Care phone 361-1269 and a pastor can come quickly to be with you.

If your loved one was a member of Trinity and the funeral will be at the church, please contact a pastor as soon as possible to help with the preparations.  The pastors work closely with both funeral homes in Algona and will be present at your family's meeting to help prepare the service.
